What do midshipmen at the US Naval Academy do during their summer trainings?! Welp, internships are one of those things! And God has blessed me beyond all measure by giving me my dream opportunity of interning at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for the second time!

Yo. If you spend more time investing and learning about options, you can retire in your 30s. I was in USAF. Biggest waste of time in my life.
You where most likely enlisted instead of an officer, they make more money and get better pensions
it's the end of 10th grade... i want apply to the usafa. my current gpa sucks (about a 3.7) and i didn't do much volunteer work. i'm planning on learning boxing and getting a tutoring job this summer, but i'm scared it's too late. i can swim but am not in any teams ( i am not in any sports teams or anything). am i cooked??? please give tips if anyone has any. i'm willing to do whatever it takes, but it might just be too late

Why do people destroy their videos with stupid background noise?
My daughter is a 2023 graduate. I think in addition to having the grades, my daughter was an excellent athlete and participated in many sports over the years. She also had church duties and a job at Chipotle. I think the Academy wants to see that a person can successfully juggle a schedule like that and not burn out. I remember when we went to hear a seminar for the Airforce Academy, they asked the parents has your child ever pushed a broom across the room? Has your child ever been trusted with the keys to lock up a store at the end of the day? I think most of the parents were taken aback to hear that. One parent was so shocked she said, no, what use would my son have with a broom in the Air Force Academy? I think she missed the point ....

In 1976 , I was in United States Army as a WAC! Ft. Jackson S.C. N.G. , NCO school, then 1979 went in Active Duty. BEST TIME OF MY LIFE! I was PFC , SP4-SP5 ( was up for SP6) active duty went PVT one rank below , the rank you were last on active duty. Sour 💊. As FYI learn the people under you. Before you jump on someone, they might now more than you now. One captain, 2 SFC LEARNED THE HARD WAY.😊. YES SP4 that learns and uses the open door, bites back harder. Capt. on carpet 2x … SFC’s loss one rank and removal from post.😊
I have been following you since your first day at the yard. Just remember to communicate and always be patient with each other. Life in the military is not an easy one. Congratulations to you both and may God bless you two on your next adventure. BROVO ZULU!

My answer when they ask me why I wanna go (I’ve wanted to go since I was 6 and I’ve known since I was 6): When I was young I used to come here a lot, my dad used to be in charge of a ton of midhsipmen. I had to move away and after I moved away I realized how much I missed messy hall, Bancroft and the little terrible elevators that used to scare me. (idk if they’ve replaced them or not lol-) When I moved I realized this is where I need to go to college. It’s exactly where I need to go.
When I was younger my dad was a chief and then he worked at us a as a chief and he watched over kids? (Idk I’m kinda confused on it sorry I was really young) he’d bring me to usna all the time during the summer. When we moved away from MD i knew that usna I absolutely knew usna is the college I’m gonna get into. I know it.

Awesome video! I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos as a way of passing the time whilst waiting to hear whether or not my son would receives an appointment from the USNA. He was blessed to hear the good news a few weeks back that he would in fact receive an appointment letter. Thank you for a glimpse into the process and a Christian approach to the Navy.
